I know how daunting it can be to search out all the Christian schools in Hampton Roads and try to find the best fit for your child or children. When I started hearing the challenges many parents were having with even knowing the options available to them locally, I started looking further into this.
Surprisingly, many of the schools were not easily findable online – especially not in any kind of list or directory for easy access. And often I found parents had a bias for or against either Christian schools in general or the thought of homeschooling. Often I noticed misconceptions around those options and room for expanded thinking with a bigger picture in mind. Also, most had not even considered customized hybrid options that could combine both – and would make education for each of their children’s different needs, stages, and learning styles much more effective and flexible.
In light of my specific findings in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and the Southside region of Southeast Virginia, I realized there was a gap I could help fill as a consultant to parents. With this partnership, I can bring clarity and helpful solutions based on my ongoing research on the latest Christian education opportunities to overwhelmed parents lacking the proper information to make the wisest decisions regarding their children’s education. Even some who had limited financial resources were amazed at the Christian education options possible in Hampton Roads with a more open mind and creative solutions we explored together.
